Commercial Real Estate
Lisa Anne Hawkins has extensive experience in all facets of commercial real estate, including acquisition, development, and finance, for projects ranging from residential communities of all types to industrial parks to retail centers and mixed-use projects. For more than two decades, she has assisted clients in building their vision through contract negotiation, due diligence, land use approvals, leasing, financing, restrictive covenants, and resale of development projects in the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. Lisa has also worked with local nonprofits and governments to help shape our community, with a special emphasis on Downtown Harrisonburg.
Natural Resource Conservation
Lisa Anne Hawkins has been working in land conservation for more than two decades, as an attorney representing landowners and land trusts and as a volunteer. She has had a hand in preserving thousands of acres of open space, farmland, forest and water resources across the Commonwealth, including representation of donors and land trust holders of conservation easements, nutrient banking, and registration and sale of land preservation tax credits. She is counsel to the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation and serves on the Boards of The Alliance for the Shenandoah Valley and the Valley Conservation Council.
